Merging Technology and Sign Language to Create True Accessibility for the Deaf
India Signing Hands (ISH) was founded on 24th April 2017 by Mr. Alok Kejriwal (a Deaf entrepreneur), Mr. Aqil Chinoy (a Deaf professional from a Deaf family), and Mrs. Mansi Shah (a CODA – Child of Deaf Adults).
The organization was created to address the long-standing accessibility challenges faced by the Deaf community in India through the innovative use of technology and Indian Sign Language.
As part of its mission, ISH launched CallSign, alongside other key initiatives such as ISH News, ISH Shiksha, and ISH Kids, to build a more inclusive and accessible world for the Deaf.
